Jobs

We're Recruiting

Birthcare is always interested in considering the curriculum vitae of midwives, lactation consultants (IBCLC) and multiskilled health assistants who believe that they have something special to offer the women and their families who choose to use the Birthcare services.

Birthcare is exciting...providing an environment in which all maternity professionals can provide the very best care for women and their babies.

Birthcare offers maternity care on two sites. Parnell and Huntly providing midwives with experience in all aspects of primary maternity in an inpatient environment and as autonomous practitioners (lead maternity carers) with team support.

The Birthcare philosophy has a strong focus on natural birth with experienced midwifery support. Birthcare supports the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative and encourages midwives in further education in lactation and all aspects of midwifery care. Birthcare also offers a wide range of pregnancy and parenting education and welcomes inquiry from midwifery staff with adult education qualifications or pregnancy and birth education qualifications.

Birthcare supports a wide range of midwifery practice and, with client informed consent, will provide an environment for professional staff to practice as long as it is safe and legal.
