Private Rooms
Single Room with en-suite ( partly funded up to 3 nights)

Make your stay at Birthcare even more special by enjoying the privacy of your own room with purpose designed en-suite. These rooms have a telephone, fridge, television, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and extended visiting hours. (all visitors 8am to 8pm) The room rate is partly funded, a charge applies which is set out in the Schedule of Charges
For fathers and partners who wish to stay in private rooms, we supply fold down beds. Meals are charged for. See our Schedule of charges
Premium Rooms
In addition to the facilities in our private rooms our large sized Premium Rooms have a queen size bed and enhanced hotel services. Please refer to our "Schedule of charges" for details.
Standard Rooms
Our comfortable standard rooms are twin share and are fully funded for eligible women. See our "Schedule of charges" for details.These rooms have an en-suite bathroom. There is a telephone at each bedside for immediate access to your midwife, nurse, for other assistance or for outside calls.
Birthing Rooms
Birthcare has 4 Birthing rooms, 3 with spa pools which can be used for pain relief or for birthing.
Birthing at Birthcare is free for New Zealand residents
