WORKING AT BIRTHCARE

Positions Available

clinical midwife manager position at birthcare huntly ltd

After many years of service to Birthcare Huntly, our Clinical Midwife Manager is leaving us to undertake Postgraduate Studies. She will remain in the Huntly area with her whanau and will still be active in the North Waikata area as she is returning to community practice as a Lead Maternity Carer.

The Clinical Midwife Manager role would require someone with recent labour and birth experience. Previous management experience is not essential as mentoring will be provided to the successful candidate. However, a passion for preserving, promoting and supporting physiological birth in a rural setting is essential.

The Clinical Midwife Manager has autonomy and has support from the established governance that is shared between Birthcare Huntly and Birthcare Auckland.

This is an ideal position for a Midwife currently living in the North Waikato area, or for a midwife looking to relocate from Auckland or Hamilton.

Please feel free to contact Ann Hanson, General Manager for more information or to register your interest in this position.

Applications close at 5pm on Wednesday 9th October

Phone 027 5728407 or ahanson@birthcare.co.nz
